It all started with an engineer asking a simple question: how can we make energy smarter?

At Cotswold Cleantech Energy, we’re building intelligent software to connect renewable energy, storage and everyday energy needs.

Our product family brings together SolarMind for smarter home energy, UnoMind for connected homes and grid flexibility, and WindMind for making more of wind energy. UnoMind and WindMind are currently in development.

Ravi brings seven years of experience in mechatronics engineering, with a background spanning robotics, AI research, software development and sustainable energy systems. A previous venture founder, he now leads Cotswold Cleantech Energy and the development of SolarMind, bringing intelligent automation to household solar, battery storage and EV charging.

How are CCE and its products connected?
Cotswold Cleantech Energy is the company behind SolarMind, UnoMind and WindMind. SolarMind focuses on smarter energy use in each home. UnoMind is being developed to connect homes and support the grid. WindMind is being developed to help homes, farms and communities make better use of wind energy.
How is UnoMind different from SolarMind?
SolarMind plans energy use around an individual home’s solar, battery, EV and heating needs. UnoMind is being developed to bring many SolarMind homes together into a virtual power plant: a network that can reduce demand, store surplus energy or export power when the grid needs help. Homeowners would share in payments for the flexibility delivered, with full details to follow at launch. Discover UnoMind ↗
What will WindMind do, and who is it for?
WindMind is being developed to forecast wind and plan when to use, store or share the energy it produces. Planned uses include charging home batteries and EVs, scheduling farm pumps and cooling, spotting early signs of turbine faults, and helping communities use local wind power. Discover WindMind ↗
Are all three products available now?
For home energy optimisation, start with SolarMind and we’ll confirm what your setup supports. UnoMind and WindMind are currently in development. Will SolarMind work with my existing equipment?
Compatibility depends on your inverter, battery, EV charger, heating equipment and energy tariff. We’re developing support across equipment brands. Share your makes and models with us and we’ll confirm which integrations and controls are available for your setup before you get started. Book a setup conversation ↗
Do I need Home Assistant?
Not for every setup. Some connections can use an equipment provider’s API; others may use Home Assistant. The right route depends on your hardware, and we’ll help you check it.
Will I stay in control with UnoMind?
Yes. UnoMind is being designed around your settings, including your battery reserve, home comfort and the charge your EV needs by morning. You would be able to opt out of grid events. These controls are part of the product being developed.
Can you work with businesses and community partners?
Yes. We welcome conversations with installers, equipment providers, commercial property operators, farms, community energy groups, network operators and research partners. We’ll explore which product fits your project, what integration or development work is needed, and opportunities across multiple sites.
